Pluto Facts

Pluto
Pluto.

1: - The Sun looks 1600 times weaker from Pluto than from Earth.

2: - One year in Pluto is equal to 248 Earth years.

3: - Pluto has not finished an orbit since it was discovered in 1930, taking 248 years to go around the Sun.

4: - About 20 years ago, Pluto's moon, Charon, was discovered.

5: - A day on the planet Pluto is approximately the duration of a week on Earth.

6: - Sunlight takes 8 minutes to reach Earth, 12 minutes and 47 seconds to reach Mars, and 5.5 hours to reach Pluto.

7: - Until 2006 Pluto was considered one of the planets of our solar system, but since 2006 it is classified in a new category called "dwarf planets".

8: Pluto was discovered in 1930 by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh.

9: While it may seem obvious what a planet is, the definition has become more complex since 2006 when the International Astronomical Union voted to reduce Pluto's status (discovered in 1930 and considered a planet since then) to a dwarf planet, so That officially is no longer the ninth planet in the Solar System.

10: - Pluto is not a planet, because it does not have a fixed orbit and its orbit is between the orbit of another planet (Neptune).

11: - Due to its size, Pluto's moon, Charon, is also considered a double dwarf planet (two planets that orbit each other), instead of a moon that orbits its planet.

12: - The Earth-Moon size ratio is the largest in our solar system, except Pluto-Charon.

13: - Due to its size, Pluto's moon, Charon, is also considered a double dwarf planet (two planets that orbit each other), instead of a moon that orbits its planet.

14: - If you were standing in Pluto at noon, it would seem like a moonlit night here on Earth. The sunlight that reaches the degraded planet Pluto is 1,000 times weaker than on Earth.

15: - Many recent studies believe that Mars was hit by a body the size of Pluto about four billion years ago. The direct result of this coup was the Borealis basin that covers 40% of the planet.

16: - Pluto consists of rock with a very thick layer of ice.

The Difference Between Being Intelligent And Being Wise

Intelligent : •   wise, cunning, capable of thinking and reason Wisdom: • The state of being wise • Ability to use knowledge and / or experience wisely • Able to determine what is wise against what is unwise • A saying, a philosophy or other advice considered wise In Short:  An intelligent man has a whole sea of knowledge and knows every fact. On the other hand, a wise man does not have all the knowledge that an intelligent man has, but he has the brain to know when to use knowledge. I have seen a lot of smart people make really stupid decisions. I was one of those people! The information I had before and after these decisions has not changed. But with every wrong decision, if I was willing to learn, my level of wisdom changed. The main difference is that: A smart or intelligent person knows how to solve any problem. A wise person knows how to avoid this problem. Knowledge makes a person intelligent. Experience makes a person wise.

5 Trapezius Exercises Without Weights or any tool

Wanna traps (or trapezius) like Goldberg?     Powerful, bulging traps are eye-catchers that give a real powerful look to your physique. I am, of course, talking about the trapezius muscles, which extends along part of the neck and down the shoulder blades, whose function is to support the arms, move the shoulder blades… and make you look superhuman. Trapezius is an important muscle group which aids in supporting the spine and neck muscles. The trapezius consists of three regions and bodybuilders work on their traps more frequently than any other muscle in upper body. By building traps, one can  increase the upper body strength  which is extremely required for weight lifting. In-addition to that, you will grab more attention from other people. Since it’s not always possible to train with weights, there are a couple of exercises that can really help to build traps just by using your own body-weight. But it’s important to do these exercises ...

Build a film Canister rocket

You will need! - One empty 35mm plastic film canister and lid. These are getting harder to find, but stores that develop film should have some. (The white canisters work much better than the black ones do.) - One fizzing antacid tablet (such as Alka-Seltzer – Get this from your parents) - Water - Safety goggles What to do? Put on those safety goggles and head outside – no really, when this works, that film canister really flies! If you want to try the indoor version, do not turn the canister upside down in step 5.  Break the antacid tablet in half. Remove the lid from the film canister and put a teaspoon (5 ml) of water into the canister. Do the next 2 steps quickly Drop the tablet half into the canister and snap the cap onto the canister (make sure that it snaps on tightly.) Quickly put the canister on the ground CAP SIDE DOWN and STEP BACK at least 2 meters. About 10 seconds later, you will hear a POP! and the film canister will launch into the air...

The average temperature of the planets

Within the Solar System, the average temperature on: • Pluto is around -235°C, • Neptune around -220°C, • Uranus -210°C, • Saturn -184°C, • Jupiter -153°C. • The temperature on Mars varies between about -87°C and -5°C, with an average of around -46°C. • The lowest natural temperature on Earth (recorded at Vostok, Antarctica in 1983) is -89°C; the highest surface temperature on Earth (recorded at Al 'Aziziyah, Libya in 1922) is 58°C; the mean overall temperature on Earth is 14°C. Planet Biography. Planets Surface Temperatures. Why temperatures differs from planets to planets? In general, the surface temperature decreases as the distance from the sun increases. Venus is an exception because its dense atmosphere acts as a greenhouse and heats the surface above the lead's melting point of 880 ° F (471 ° C).

Electric Flux

Electric field can be quantitatively described by using the concept of electric flux. Electric flux is the number of electric field lines penetrating a surface or passing through a surface. The electric field can be uniform or non-uniform. Let us now try to find the electric flux passing through a surface when the field is uniform.

The Most Clever Life hacks I've Learned

• Golden rule of spending: if you can't pay for two, you can't pay it. Credit: Google • When you are thinking of buying something you do not necessarily need, imagine the item in one hand and the cash in the other. which one would you take? • Never lend to a friend more than you can afford. • If a job makes you pay money to work for them, it is a scam. Period. • Do you want to find a good job after college? Make friends with as many people in your field who are on their way to graduate one or two years before you. • Take a picture of the business cards that people give you, in case you lose them. • Secretaries, technical support and custodians are the real power in an office. Become friends with them and you can get everything you need! • If you forget someone's name, simply say, "I'm sorry, what was your name again?" It may seem annoying, but once your name is told, say: "No, I meant your last name." • The next time you hit you...

Silt

Silt is granular material of a size somewhere between sand and clay, whose mineral origin is quartz and feldspar. Silt may occur as a soil or as sediment mixed in suspension with water (also known as a suspended load) in a body of water such as a river. It may also exist as soil deposited at the bottom of a water body. Silt has a moderate specific area with a typically non-sticky, plastic feel. Silt usually has a floury feel when dry, and a slippery feel when wet. Silt can be visually observed with a hand lens. Sources:- Silt is created by a variety of physical processes capable of splitting the generally sand-sized quartz crystals of primary rocks by exploiting deficiencies in their lattice. These involve chemical weathering of rock and regolith, and a number of physical weathering processes such as frost shattering and haloclasty. The main process is abrasion through transport, including fluvial comminution, aeolian attrition and glacial grinding. It is in semi-arid envir...

Why Do People Fail In Life?

Because short term gratification is more appealing than not having a social life for X years. Hence, people end up tricking themselves by picking easy majors and easy goals. What kind of a sadomasochist wants to prioritize when you can just Netflix & chill? If a person hears “no,” he quits. Apply a little pressure or infuse the situation with a struggle and not a clear straight path and the person loses his shit. Not being realistic enough. Most likely, a Ph.D in mathematics at the age of 45 when you can’t grasp arithmetics is not pragmatic. Not having clear goals. I am not a fan of to do lists, but calendar planning works. Also, try to write down a “what I did today” list at the end of the day. If you didn’t do anything, that guilt feeling will kick in. Comparing yourself too much with others. You start to feel envy, to feel inadequate, and to feel ridiculed by your own self because you start to lose rationale. Not having gratitude, not having the ability to be happy wi...
